Welcome to our neighborhood.

Hi. My name is Judy Black and I opened the doors to Main Street Realty in 1985 with the goal of becoming the premier real estate company in Windermere, Florida. Since then, I have been privileged to meet people from all walks of life pursuing the American dream.

Over time, we earned our reputation for success through local knowledge, deep roots in the community, and unwavering honesty and integrity. With our growing success, we invested in the technology, training, and international exposure to elevate us to where we are today.

Although we are much larger now in numbers and in territory, we still hold dear the personalized service and small company enthusiasm that solidified our reputation. And, to me, success is still measured one smile at a time. Thank you for trusting us with your most important investment. I am looking forward to welcoming you as another valued customer.

About Windermere

Windermere is one of the most recognized communities in all of Florida let alone Central Florida. The town of Windermere is surrounded on all sides by the pristine Butler Chain of Lakes. Grand estate homes grace the shorelines in exclusive neighborhoods like Isleworth, Keene’s Point, Bay Hill, and Lake Butler Sound. The nightly Walt Disney World fireworks are visible in the distance, and Universal Studios and Sea World are also right around the corner.

About Orlando

Since the opening of Walt Disney World in 1971, Orlando has been best known as a leading tourist destination with approximately 52 million tourists arriving each year to visit Walt Disney World, Sea World, Universal Studios, MGM Studios, Kennedy Space Center and various other attractions in the Central Florida area. Apart from tourism, Orlando has also established itself as a sophisticated business and industrial center. In 1956, the aerospace and defense company Lockheed Martin established itself as a mainstay in Orlando, and other leading corporations calling Orlando home include Darden Restaurants, Loews Hotels, Florida Hospital, and Electronic Arts. Additionally, Orlando is home to the Orlando Magic professional basketball team and a number of leading colleges and graduate schools including Rollins College and the University of Central Florida, the third largest university in the country.

In the 1990s, Orlando became a recognized center for popular music and film production with close ties to some of the biggest names in entertainment. The Florida Film Festival hosts one of the most respected regional film festivals in the country while the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center attracts national theatrical tours on a regular basis. The Kerouac House, where Jack Kerouac lived while his famous novel On the Road was being published, now houses aspiring writers creating their own masterpieces.

The best part of Orlando may lie in its natural beauty. Orlando is rivaled only by the Twin Cities in the number of natural lakes in its metropolitan area, which include the pristine Butler Chain of Lakes in Windermere, the Winter Park Chain of Lakes, the Conway Chain of Lakes and the Clermont Chain of Lakes. With the abundance of water and a subtropical climate, residents enjoy boating and fishing year round, and many of the top professional water skiers and wake boarders make Orlando their home on a year round basis. And for ocean lovers, the world famous Cocoa Beach and more laid back New Smyrna Beach are both less than an hour away.
