Mainstreet Course & Event Cancellation Policy

Cancellations and Reschedules


Requests received at least two business days prior to the date of the class or event are eligible for a full refund or reschedule without penalty.


All requests must be submitted via:

 

After the Deadline
  • No refunds or reschedules will be permitted.
  • Registration fee will be forfeited.

 

Late Arrivals or Early Departures (For Credit-Offering Courses)

Participants who arrive late or leave early will:

  • Not receive continuing education credit (as required by IDFPR)
  • Not receive Code of Ethics credit (if applicable)
  • Not receive credit toward local or state sanctions
  • Not receive Designation/Certification credit (if applicable)
  • Be able to attend for information only (no refunds provided)
  • Be able to transfer the registration to another class of equal or lesser value

 

Note: Reschedules are only permitted within the same renewal period.

Additional Notes

 

Multiday Courses

(Includes but is not limited to 12-Hour Broker Management, Designation classes and Certification classes)

  • Full attendance is required for all scheduled days within the same session to receive full course credit.
  • Mixing and matching dates across different sessions is not permitted, unless approved in advance by both the instructor and Illinois REALTORS®.
  • In cases of personal emergency, accommodation may be considered at the discretion of Mainstreet, the Instructor, and Illinois REALTORS®.

 

45-Hour Post Licensing Courses
  • Only Mainstreet members who have completed orientation (New Member Jumpstart) and have an active license issued by IDFPR are eligible to register for the full 5-day 45-Hour Post Licensing course.
  • New members who are not required to complete orientation may take Day 1 of a Jumpstart session to become eligible.

 

Note: Jumpstart must be completed prior to the Risk Management segment of the course.

 

  • The 45-Hour session may only be split by 15-Hour segments.
  • Splitting the course on individual days is not allowed.

Day 1 (Jumpstart) & Day 2 – Risk Management 15-Hours
Day 3 & Day 4 – Applied Brokerage Principles 15-Hours (Cannot be split up)
Day 5 & Day 6 – Transaction Issues 15-Hours (Cannot be split up)
